Everyone wants to feel beautiful. It is important to remember that "happiness is the secret to all beauty." With that being said, it is essential to be mindful about the lifestyle you live.
~To be happy, be healthy~
Be active, get outside & get your body moving. Find what you love and do it. Keep your mind & your body working. Feed your body right. Keep your mind open & clear, have fun, & be positive.

As a girl, I enjoy wearing make-up, getting ready, going out, and feeling as if I look good. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to look pretty. However, in this world we live in, the cost of beauty is often at the expense of other people, animals, or the environment. So many of the products (makeup, soaps, tooth pastes, deodorants, hair products, sunscreen, nail polish, ect.) is manufactured by companies that care for nothing more than making money. Many of the everyday products you use are likely made by companies that test on animals, exploit people in other countries, and are destroying the environment. Not to mention, most of these products contain chemicals that are far from good for you. Luckily, we live in a day and age where people are finally starting to care. What you put in your body is just as important as what you put on your body. Look at labels, make sure they are cruelty-free, & all natural. Here are some of my favorite products for everyday use:

People want to feel as if they have style and look good. Having my own unique style is important to me as well. The way you dress & look is how you portray yourself in a sense. However, once again, there are way too many companies that mass-produce clothes or sell "fashionable" products at the expense of others. When you decide to buy that new shirt, bag, or pair of shoes, think about where it came from, who made it, & the process behind how it was made. Fortunately, there are companies that are jumping on the sustainable apparel movement. Check out Threads for Thoughts, Toms shoes, Zady, & Fair Indigo. These are just a few companies that are working toward positive changes in the fashion world. Shop at thrift shops, buy from companies that treat their employees right & avoid supporting textile companies that are polluting our rivers with dyes & harmful chemicals. Look stylish & beautiful, naturally.
